Investments from Brightspeed and the company’s participation in the South Carolina 2021 Rural Broadband Grant Program helped to meet the growing demand for high-speed internet in the rural Orangeburg County community. The program matches company investments to support broadband expansion to underserved areas.

Who doesn’t love a free lunch? We’re hoping our Brightspeed Business customers do.
Brightspeed recently launched a new customer engagement program called "We Love Local". The program features a reputable, popular, local food truck that we sponsor in a central location near our Brightspeed Business customers. Customers can visit the truck for a complimentary lunch and meet with our representatives who are prepared to explain the benefits of our services and answer customer questions.
“The goal is to engage with our local customers by showing up where they live and work and introducing them to their Brightspeed Business team,” said Andy Rodriquez, VP, Enterprise Sales.
The first "We Love Local" lunch was held in Mansfield, Ohio on Dec. 9, 2022. The next two stops in December were in Jefferson City, Missouri and Charlottesville, Virginia.
“While we are very confident in this program’s positive impact, we are approaching it as an opportunity to learn and continuously improve how and when we connect with our customers in person,” added Andy.
More of the "We Love Local" events are planned for the coming months.
