Business Connect - January 2023, Wholesale issue
Introducing the Brightspeed Business Connect e-newsletter.
Since Day 1 our Brightspeed Wholesale team has been meeting with many of our customers. Hearing from you on ways that we can continue to build these new relationships and better deliver the carrier services you require. We work every day to earn your trust and to handle these most important connections. Our team strives to be genuine and forthright in how we communicate with you, and we purposefully create space for open and honest feedback. One way this is illustrated is through our Customer Forums. We have the next one coming up later this month and registration details can be found below. Here we give you the opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from our leadership team on key wholesale initiatives that affect your business. The following newsletter content is also another way of delivering on what we believe and keeping you informed. We hope you find this information valuable and would welcome your feedback for future editions.
Brightspeed Business will host a Wholesale Customer Forum on Friday, 2/24 to provide our wholesale customers with information specific to the first 100 days of operation. This session will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and allows attendees to view presentation material and ask questions. It is strongly recommended you test your connection prior to the meeting date/time to avoid any delays.

Brightspeed, the nation’s fifth-largest incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC), announced the completion of expanded broadband fiber services in Eutawville, South Carolina and surrounding area, bringing faster, more reliable internet service to more than 3,000 doorsteps. Investments from Brightspeed and the company’s participation in the South Carolina 2021 Rural Broadband Grant Program helped to meet the growing demand for high-speed internet in the rural Orangeburg County community. The program matches company investments to support broadband expansion to underserved areas.
To better serve our wholesale customers we have placed a Tariff Library on our website. The tariffs are electronic representations of Brightspeed tariffs that are on file with commissions. Users of electronic tariffs should note, however, that such tariffs are not the official documents and users assume responsibility for reliance upon tariffs in electronic format. The Brightspeed Regulatory Compliance and Analytics department maintains this site and tariffs are updated promptly.
The Brightspeed Wholesale team will be on hand at this year’s Metro Connect USA, which will take place on 30 Jan – 1 Feb 2023 at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor.
This annual meeting for US digital infrastructure leadership teams offers networking with C-level executives from the fiber, data center, cloud, tower and cable industry, as well as Directors and Partners from the finance sector.
