and specs

  • Feature Group A provides a cost-effective way to enter new markets with lower long-distance rates for end users. It provides lineside interconnection to Brightspeed’s end office switches through an end user 7-digit code for the long-distance customer’s use in originating and terminating calls. This lineside connection allows extremely low capital investment for wholesale customers. LATA-wide terminations with better access to local calling areas for originating traffic. Seven-digit local number to collect long distance traffic from multiple end users lowers rates.
  • Feature Group B provides competitive long-distance rates, personal identification numbers for faster validation and billing, and a nationwide single number for end user customers. Trunkside interconnection to Brightspeed’s end office switches is made possible through a uniform 7-digit access code for long distance calls. Switching and two-way trunking are available to facilitate improved answer and disconnect supervision for originating and terminating calls.
  • Feature Group C is available only AT&T for trunkside access to non-EA end.
  • Feature Group D offers the broadest range of complementary services and the most often used of all Feature Groups. It enables direct-dial calls with fewer numbers to dial and enhances ease of international calling. including: trunkside switching, 2-way trunking, originating and terminating.
