Tax Recovery Surcharge
Brightspeed will implement a monthly $6.03 Tax Recovery Surcharge to customers subscribed to copper Brightspeed Internet (DSL) Services. This surcharge will recover the costs of some taxes attributable to Brightspeed's copper network used to deliver internet services.

Yes, this surcharge begins in October 2025.
How much is it?
The surcharge is $6.03 per month. It will appear as a separate line item as “Tax Recovery Surcharge” in the fees and taxes section of the invoice.
Who does it apply to?
It applies to copper Brightspeed Internet (DSL), including customers with Price for Life.
